Remedy Entertainment reveals the PC system requirements for Alan Wake 2.
Alan Wake 2's PC system requirements demand DLSS and FSR2, raising fan concerns over game optimisation.
Remedy hasn't mentioned AMD graphic cards for the higher ray tracing settings, which raises concerns about the game's compatibility.
With a few days left for Remedy Entertainment to release their upcoming title, Alan Wake 2, the studio reveals the system requirement of the game with their fans. The system requirements for Alan Wake 2 seem to be hefty as the game will require at least a GeForce RTX 2060 or Radeon RX 6600 to run it on low graphic settings with 30 fps. While going through the system requirements, fans must understand that the system requirements revealed by Remedy are on the assumption that players will be using DLSS or FSR2. DLSS and FSR2 are deep learning technologies by Nvidia and AMD, which are meant to improve the gaming experience by restructuring and upscaling the graphics.
After Remedy revealed the complete list of PC system requirements, one of the fans responded, "An RTX 3070 is starting to become low-end real quick," while another one said, "Can we please get specs without upscaling? That's kind of worrying tbh." Since the system requirements mention the usage of DLSS and FSR2, fans are worried about the game's optimisation.
