Paradox Responds To Concerns About Cities: Skylines 2 In Their Latest Announcement

While discussing the game's performance, Paradox shares that they haven't "achieved the benchmark" they targeted. Cities: Skylines 2 will be releasing on 24 October 2023 on PC, but the game is expected to face some performance issues as the developers are still working on optimizing the game. Paradox is looking forward to fixing the initial performance issues over time. Talking about the same, here is what the announcement reads:

In light of this, we still think for the long-term of the project, releasing now is the best way forward. We are proud of the unique gameplay and features in Cities: Skylines II, and we genuinely believe that it offers a great experience that you will enjoy.

The announcement also says that the developers are introducing Paradox Mods as the "new mods platform for Cities: Skylines 2."
