Palworld iOS is Not Official, Developers Release Statement Regarding Fake Mobile App

The rumour spread quickly that Palworld, which was released for PC and Xbox will now also be available for iOS. The screenshots of the game's availability in the "Coming Soon" got the hopes up of many people who wanted to try the game. However, the game developers were quick to release a statement and shut all the rumours surrounding the game's availability on the App Store.

Palworld's Developers Release Statement About iOS App

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Palworld's official account posted about the apps that "are not affiliated with our company" and warned players against falling prey to such rumours. 

There is no Palworld application for phones. Apps using names and product images such as "パルワールド" and "Palworld" are appearing on the AppStore and Google Play, but they are not affiliated with our company in any way.

The account further added that they have complained about the issue to the App Store and Google Play Store to de-list any such apps that make their way onto the platform. The company also asked the players to beware of downloading any apps that claim to be linked to Pocketpair but are not. This could lead to players' data being leaked and sensitive information misused. 

As far as the game is concerned, Palworld was released on January 19, 2024, and is just available for Xbox and PC platforms for a cost of $29.99. The players interested in playing the game can buy it on either of the platforms and play it. 

Palworld is an open-world survival game that has over 100 Pals in the game that players can tame and capture. To capture the Pals, players will have to fight them against their own Pals, which are hopefully at a much higher level and will be able to defeat the wanted Pal. From that moment on, players must strategically throw the Pal Sphere to capture the Pal.  As soon as the game garnered millions of downloads, the Pokemon Company released a statement that they would be investigating a game that has assets similar to their game but didn't name the game. Still, fans were quick to figure out which game they were referring to.
