  • The game has been met with mixed reactions from players, with many reporting lag and server issues.

  • Some players are unable to play the game at the highest performance settings, even on high-end devices.

  • The developers expect some matchmaking issues as the game rolls out to different regions.

Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale game that puts you in a massive online fight for survival. Up to 150 players drop onto a sprawling map and scavenge for weapons, armor, and equipment.  The last team or individual standing wins. Since its launch to console and PC, the game has been quite popular. It was first hinted that a mobile version of the game will be out soon. Call of Duty Warzone Mobile launched today to quite a bit of fan reactions. In this article, let’s look at some of the common responses players have provided about the new game.

How to Play Warzone Mobile Early
Initial reactions have a common theme to them, lag and server issues. Many players have reported that they are facing quite a lot of lag and server delays.  There have been quite a few glitches that have been detected as well in gameplay. Players also haven’t been able to play at the highest performance that is supported by their mobile devices. Due to this many players who can play the game on 60 FPS smoothly can play the game in 24 FPS. It does feel like the game isn’t fully optimized yet for various Android devices.

On X Techno Ruhez stated the following in one of his tweets about Call Of Duty Warzone:

File Size is 1.5GB plus 5GB extra In-Game Download (Total Size 6.5GB) The Game is a Little Glitchy and has some graphical issues as of now Rest is smooth and the graphics are good(Could Have Been Better) However settings app not allowing me to select the Highest Graphics Even on SD 8 Gen 3😁 Maybe it will be fixed soon.

HazarikaPlayzYT on X stated the following in a tweet:

I'm sorry but how tf people are defending the game this is my Snapdragon 870 device and that's high graphics for you guys😶😶 it is fuckin blurry..battery went from 75% to 51 in the tutorial lmao

It must be stated that the global launch of Warzone Mobile will be taking place later in the day, currently, the game is just being unlocked for each region. Call Of Duty on their discord server posted this message concerning the issues faced by multiple fans:

Hey @everyone, there may be a few small updates today so apologies in advance for the multiple pings. However, it is very important to note that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has begun to roll out regionally, the worldwide launch build, to ensure that the game is available for everyone globally to enjoy beginning March 21!

Also, there may be some matchmaking growing pains as we roll out to each region and as players populate the servers. Please keep that in mind before reporting any latency or matchmaking issues. We'd recommend waiting until March 21st before pushing out new WZM-support reports on those topics unless it is critical.
Lastly, if you are wondering if your device or region is applicable the best practice is to check the Apple App Store or Google Play Store as the source of truth on either topic. One more day to go and thank you everyone for the hype!
