Vodafone India has announced a partnership with Team Vitality to help boost the esports sector in the country. Team Vitality is a Paris-based organization that primarily works in the esports and gaming niche and has professional teams for a variety of titles like CS2, Valorant, and more. The org is also home to many content creators. The collaboration was announced earlier today via a press statement where Vi said that they will be partnering with Vitality in 2024.

Vodafone India Partners With Team Vitality To Help Esports Grow In India
According to a State of India Gaming Report 2022, the Esports economy in India is expected to grow to $140 million by 2027, and to capitalize on this growing market, Vi and Vitality have come together to give Vi users new chances and platforms to engage in esports. This one-of-a-kind partnership will help players get more exposure to the world of esports and will give them a chance to meet professional players, get master classes, meet-and-greets with esports stars, and many other opportunities.
Recently, Vi also hosted a bunch of esports events that featured titles like Call of Duty: Mobile, Free Fire Max, Asphalt 9, and Clash Royale. Talking about the vision and partnership with Team Vitality, Avneesh Khosla, CMO of Vi said:

Regarding Team Vitality's India Esports presence, their Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) team earned a position in the top 16 that participated in the CODM World Championship 2023 which took place in Atlanta, USA, from December 15th to 17th. The Esports organization also has a list of popular content creators that are based out of India. These include names like Nischay ‘Live Insaan’ Malhan, Rachit ‘Rachitroo’ Yadav, Nitin ‘Classified YT’ Chougale, Shagufta ‘Xyaa’ Iqbal and Pratik ‘Aurum’ Mehra.
