VCT Masters Tokyo has commenced and the schedule, the outcomes, the format, and the teams for the second cross-region Valorant competition of 2023 are all included here.
In preparation for this thrilling two-week battle, which is taking place in Chiba, Japan at the Makuhari Messe from 11th to 25th June, twelve teams from four different locations have travelled to Tokyo. Given the success of the Japanese Challengers League and the popularity of Valorant in Asia, Riot Games has great expectations for the VCT Masters competition. The teams that perform well in Masters Tokyo will have a big edge over their rivals, putting them on the fast track to qualifying for Valorant Champions 2023.
A group stage will be followed by a double-elimination bracket in this competition, which will feature 12 teams from EMEA, the Americas, the Pacific, and China. After the single-elimination structure of VCT LOCK//IN was criticized, this format was well-liked by players and viewers.
