Valorant has been consistent with its updates since launch and the trend continues with the latest 7.02 patch. The latest update fixes some longstanding bugs, including a Spike Defuse animation bug and Deadlock's Annihilation bugs. Apart from that, Riot Games updated a few of Jett's voice lines and added new interaction lines with Gekko and Neon.
The major update in this patch is the introduction of The Esports Hub in the game, which will help players get updates on the Champions 2023 schedule and results. The limited 2023 Champions bundle will also be available in the stores to celebrate the Valorant Champions 2023.

New Esports Hub, Jett Voice Lines, And Bug Fixes In latest 7.02 Valorant Update
Jett is one of the quirkiest agents in Valorant, and most players love her voice lines. Riot has now added some new voice lines for Jett in the latest patch, including some interaction lines with Gekko and Neon. Here are some of her new voice lines, where she humorously roasts her opponents:
- After Hitting an Ace, Jett mimics the Ace beat: Woohoo! Buh Bum Buh Bum
- If the last kill enemy was Astra: Guardian huh of what, the ground?
- Round Start against Enemy Deadlock: Ugh! Deadlock's wires are obnoxious. Shoot them for me, yeah?
The newly added Deadlock has also received several fixes for its Annihilation bugs. Here are a few of Deadlock's bug fixes:
- Fixed Deadlock's Sonic Sensor (Q) not triggering when Wingman (Q) started defusing the Spike in its detection area under some circumstances.
- Fixed issues where damage-over-time area abilities (like Phoenix's Hot Hands [E]) were not damaging Deadlock's Barrier Mesh (E).
- Fixed issues where Raze's Showstopper (X) projectile would not explode when hitting players trapped by Deadlock's Annihilation (X).
- Fixed issue where players trapped by Deadlock's Annihilation (X) were not properly killed when hit by the Spike explosion.
The Esports Hub will be a dedicated page in players' Valorant UI where they can keep themselves up-to-date with the matches and schedule while playing. The Esports Hub will go live on August 2, 2023, and run throughout the Champions 2023 till August 26, 2023.
