With the conclusion of VALORANT Masters Madrid last month, fans have been waiting for the next big tournament in the scene. As VCT 2024 Pacific Stage 1 has already commenced, Americas isn't far behind, with VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Americas Stage 1 commencing later this week.

The VCT 2024 Americas Stage 1 will showcase the 'rise of underdogs', as stated by Riot Games. Each team in the tournament is after the pursuit of VCT supremacy, as they all fight against each other to take the trophy home.

All Participating Rosters in VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Americas Stage 1 and Groups

A number of 11 teams will join the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Americas Stage 1, and the teams will be split in the group of two, namely; Alpha and Omega. The teams and their groups are as follows:

VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Americas Stage 1 Format:

​

Compared to last year, the VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Americas Stage 1 will share a vastly different format for the participating teams, as they are divided between the regular season, which will commence on April 6, 2024, and the Mid-Season Playoffs, commencing from May 8, 2024.

The Stage 1 schedule is as follows:

• Regular Season: April 6 - May 5
• Mid-Season Playoffs: May 8 - 12

After the completion of Stage 1 on May 12, 2024, the Stage 2 will commence from June 22, 2024.

Each stage will be followed by a mixed-elimination Playoff which will determine the teams that will advance to the global tournaments. According to Riot, the top three teams from each group in Stage 1 will qualify for the Mid-season Playoffs.

​​Championship Points in VALORANT Champions Tour 2024: Americas Stage 1

Throughout the Regional and Masters tournaments, all participating teams across every region have the opportunity to earn Championship Points, which are awarded based on the following system, as stated by Riot:

• One point for each match won during Stage 1 & Stage 2 Regular Season
• One point for each match win or earned bye during Mid-Season and Season Playoffs
• Three points for winning the Kickoff
• Three points for winning Mid-Season Playoffs
• Three points for winning Masters Madrid
• Three points for winning Masters Shanghai
