The next episode of Valorant is expected to include a new agent. The most recent teaser for this agent stated that Sova was seeking them in a freezing location nestled in a mountain range. Now, fresh hints from reliable leaker, ValorLeaks, state that this enigmatic new agent will reportedly be nicknamed 'Cable.' True to their name, the new Agent's kit will largely be compromised of cables and creative uses for them.
 

The nature of the Agent's rumored kit hints at the potential for vertical movement. Whether it's an homage to ODM gear from Attack on Titan or is inspired by Camille in League of Legends, another game by Riot Games, remains to be seen. 

Riot Games drops Official Teaser for New Agent
 

The most recent teaser posted by the Valorant Twitter account doesn't really have much to go on. Sova is seen scoping out a structure, looking for something, or someone. The Tweet caption's Sova's next move:

"Drone is on the approach, but battery levels are critical. Still no signs of life. Going in on foot. -Sova out"

The ValorLeaks Twitter account provided additional context for the upcoming teaser and reports that the new Agent's abilities will be showcased.
 

With ValorLeaks' history of leaks and accurate information, the leaks are fairly credible, but as always, will remain rumors until confirmed. This new agent, according to the ValorLeaks Twitter account, will be a she. Additionally, she is expected to bear winter-themed talents. Other reports suggest that Cable could be skilled with technology and is a hacker of sorts. She also is rumored to have a bear as a companion.

This could be a reference to Wojtek, a bear who served in the Polish military during World War II. There is little doubt that if Riot Games adds anything comparable, this bear might become a very well-liked figure among players. With the looming release of Episode 7, users won't have to wait long for more details on the next Agent.

The Electronic Sports Federation of India has opened the registrations for eFootball (Mobile) Phase-1 for the upcoming Waves Esports Championship (WAVES) 2025. Interested Indian players can register for the same till November 11. The competition will begin from November 14 and will be divided into multiple stages. 

All the matches will be streamed live and you can enjoy the matches from the quarterfinals onwards on ESFI's YouTube channel.

ESFI Opens eFootball (Mobile) Phase 1 Registrations

WESC25 will be a part of the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) summit, which the government organises. The winner of the tournament will be given a chance to represent India at the Asian Esports Games (AEG) in Bangkok, Thailand. The AEG will also have many other esports titles like Arena of Valor (Open) and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Female). The final competition of the eFootball tournament will take place on November 27 and 28.

The WAVES summit will take place from February 5 to 9, 2025, and will feature 25 unique challenges, including game development contests and AI installations, highlighting India's creative talent. Interestingly, it is a part of the Government of India's ‘Create in India Challenge - Season 1’. 
 

League of Legends and The Esports Club have announced the esports roadmap for the game for the Indian and South Asian regions. The detailed roadmap has everything planned for both amateur and professional players. The matches will be high-intensity and will be full of adrenaline rush. 

The initiative is supported by Crucial by Micron and is sponsored by Zotac Gaming. Both sponsors will be working together to provide the players with a world-class experience for players and audience.

With PUBG Nations Cup (PNC) concluded fans have been wondering what's next for their favorite battle royale title in the esports scene. Krafton has recently released the complete PUBG Esports 2025 Roadmap, with all the necessary details one would have to know to follow the tournaments.

Road to PGC 2025

Krafton has stated that PGS will remain a foundation for the journey with teams preparing for the PGC 2025. The calendar has scheduled four events across the year.

Each PGS event will feature 24 teams, consisting of 10 Global Partner Teams and 14 Regional Series Qualifiers from five regions. The regions include China, Korea, EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.

The distribution is as follows:

The Regional Series from the above will offer the teams to write their journey towards the biggest tournament of the year, PUBG Global Championship (PGC).

Krafton is also working towards 'thrilling' global events that bring the best teams together into the international spotlight. The PUBG Nations Cup (PNC) is also making a return next year, bringing all-star teams together from across the globe as they represent their countries.

Krafton has officially stated that the announcement for applications to the PUBG Global Partner Team Program 2025 will commence on December 1, 2024, at PUBGEsports.com. Applicants will have ample time to prepare, as they go through a thorough internal evaluation. The selection process will be concluded by February 2025.

As Indian gamers immerse themselves in mobile games, a new opportunity is knocking at their door with the addition of eFootball in the FIFAe World Cup. This latest addition will be joining Rocket League and Football Manager to become a part of the FIFAe World Cup in the coming years.

Complete Format for Thug Invitational 2024 Explained

Joined by talented Indian esports teams, the Thug Invitational 2024 will follow a pretty basic format.

Stage 1: Group Stage

The first stage will feature 64 teams landing on the Group Stage to fight out for their position in the Semi-Finals. Only half of the teams will make it to the next stage.

Stage 2: Semi-Finals

The Invitational will start on October 19, 2024, with 32 teams, divided into four groups of 8 teams each. The top 16 teams will qualify for the Grand Finals, as the Semi-Finals stage concludes on October 24, 204.

Stage 2: Grand Finals

The third and final stage of the Invitational will feature the top 16 teams, following a 3-matchday format. Among the 16 remaining squads, only the top four will take on the prize pool. The grand final stage of the tournament will conclude on October 27, 2024.

For anyone becoming the MVP, the player will also receive an additional Rs. 25,000/ USD 297.41 from the prize pool.
