Before the announcement came out, Omega hosted a live stream (now private) and informed his audience that he, along with Akshat, Hector and Neyoo will be parting ways with the team and the organisation and will be looking to join another team. He also informed that Goblin will be sticking with Soul and S8UL.

Me, Akshat, Hector, Neyo & Coach Amit will be sticking together and sadly we are not a part of team soul anymore.

This video was followed by an announcement by team Soul Esports on their Instagram, where they dedicated a reel to their outgoing players and wrote:

With deep appreciation for Omega, Hector, Neyo, and Akshat, we bid a fond farewell. Your impact has been immeasurable - Wishing you all the success and joy in your future endeavours.

Talking about the players' farewell, 8bit Thug said:

We are trying to see if Goblin fits into a permutation combination with any lineup. If he does not, he will remain as an S8UL person, but we'll facilitate where he wants to go. Goblin remains as our person; he is not sticking with that lineup. We are giving our best effort, but only time will answer. It's very difficult nowadays to deal; we just need to ensure we take care of him and will continue to do so until his very end.

However, Goblin has decided to stick with S8UL, but will not be a part of the lineup that will be signed. While this information was not relayed officially, this message was posted on his subscription channel.

Team Soul, which has Omega, Akshat, Goblin, Hector and Coach Amit was signed in 2021 and the team won the BMPS 2022 edition. In the course of the two years that they were together, the team won a lot of unofficial tournaments and was deemed to be the most loved lineup in the BGMI Esports scene. The roster also went on to represent India at the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 and was placed 11th.

After the ban was lifted from the game, 2023 was evidently a tough year for the team and they were unable to make it to the grand finals of BGIS 2023, and eventually Ind KR Invitational. The team was also not able to defend their champion title at the BMPS 2023 and finished fifth, which is considered to be the last nail in the coffin.
