Shopify Rebellion Acquires Version1 Game Changers Lineup

After a dominating performance of the Version1 GC roster in Valorant Game Changers North America, Shopify Rebellion has acquired the lineup ahead of the Game Changers 2023 Championship: Sao Paulo. Despite such a dominating performance, Version1 had to transfer its roster amid the rumours of its merger with G2 Esports. The American Game Changers superteam qualified for the Championship 2023 after accumulating the highest circuit points throughout the season. 

Shopify Rebellion's Game Changers team was part of the American GC circuit, but their previous lineup failed to qualify for the Championship. On 26 October 2023, Shopify Rebellion dropped their roster, and three weeks later, the organisation acquired the American superteam, which will fly down to Sao Paulo for the Championship.

Shopify Rebellion To Participate In The Valorant Game Changers 2023 Championship: Sao Paulo With Ex Version1 Roster

The current players under the banner of Shopify Rebellion are:

Throughout the 2023 Game Changers season, Version1 dominated the North American region. Version1 won both the Game Changers 2023: North America Series 1 and 2 without dropping a single map in the main event. Thanks to their victories in the series, Version1 has acquired 160 circuits. 

With the highest circuit points in their bag, Version1 had their one leg into the Game Changers 2023 Championship: Sao Paulo. Version1 entered the Series 3 to qualify for the Championship with the higher seeding. Game Changers 2023 Series 3 had a direct slot for Game Changers Championship 2023 on the line. After continuing to dominate the main event, Version1 met Evil Geniuses GC in the grand finals. Evil Geniuses GC was off to a great start by winning the first two maps. While Version1 did try to make a comeback in the third map, Evil Geniuses GC locked their victory and Sao Paulo slot by winning the fourth map. 

Valorant Game Changers 2023 Championship: Sao Paulo will begin on 28 November 2023, where the world's top eight Game Changers teams will fight against each other. The teams competing in the GC Championship 2023 are:
