Riot Games just announced "Convergence", in collaboration with The Esports Club. The first-ever international Valorant esports competition in India. The event is scheduled to take place at Bangalore's Manpho Convention Center from December 14–17, 2023. Some of the most prominent Valorant teams in the world will unite for Convergence to compete in India.
Over the past year, Riot Games has implemented many initiatives aimed at improving player experience and encouraging community engagement. Riot Games recently held Bharat Valorant celebrations to mark the third anniversary of Valorant in India and organized a beach clean-up with the Indian gaming community to mark the first anniversary of Valorant's first-ever Indian agent Harbor.

Riot Games Unveil 'Convergence': India's First International Valorant Event
Riot's commitment to the developing gaming culture in India is demonstrated by Convergence, which is the organization's first international VALORANT esports tournament held in India. Several of the world's best VALORANT teams, including Global Esports, FUT, Furia, Vitality, and GenG, will battle it out on the same stage in India throughout the competition. The very best of professional VALORANT esports, the previously mentioned teams compete in Riot's VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) throughout Asia, Europe, and the Americas. They will face off against one another in the main event, which will take place at Bengaluru, India's Manpho Convention Centre from December 14 to December 17.

Convergence is us at Riot saying thanks to our amazing fans in India, who have supported us since the launch of VALORANT in 2020. We have also since grown the India team to deliver such hyperlocal experiences to our players here. With Convergence, Indian fans will finally get to see some of their favorite VALORANT athletes perform in person and also interact with them off-stage. It will be a perfect ending to the 2023 VCT season and we are just getting started here in India for such international events.
