Even though the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2023 Allstars Event has ended, Vampire Esports continued showing dominance at the Main Event. As day 1 of the PMWI 2023 Main Event has ended, Vampire Esports sits on the top of the leaderboard.

The PMWI Main Event started with the top 16 teams from around the globe competing for a massive chunk of the $2,000,000 prize pool and an additional slot for their region to PMGC.

With 54 elimination points, Vampire Esports holds the top spot on the leaderboard. Vampire Esports looks strong, but with teams like Alpha7 Esports and Alter Ego Ares sitting in the top 3, the top position could be anyone's. Alpha7 Esports is in second place with 53 points, and Alter Ego Ares is third with 49 points. The top five position looks packed as Team Six Two Eight is also at 49 points, while Box Gaming is at 41. Fan favourites like Stalwart Esports, Dplus KIA, and DRS Gaming must buckle up to finish on the top. Stalward Esports, with one Chicken Dinner, holds the seventh position, whereas Dplus KIA and DRS Gaming are at the 12th and 13th spots.

With the default map order, the day started with the green fields of Sanhok, where the South Asian Champions, Stalwart Esports, announced their presence with nine elimination Chicken Dinner.  After the first match, the next three games were on Erangel, where the SEA League winner, Alter Ego Ares, went on to win their first Chicken Dinner with 11 elimination points. Fire Flux Esports won a Chicken Dinner in the day's third match with seven kills.

As the teams were halfway through the day, Box Gaming displayed great dominance with a ten-elimination Chicken Dinner in the day's fourth match. The final two games were on Miramar, where the Brazilian team Alpha7 Esports came out on top with a 13-kill Chicken Dinner. Vampire Esports were having a good day regarding kills, but they were hungry for a Chicken Dinner. The team got 16 kills in the second match and 13 in the third. As the game proceeded to the final map, Vampire Esports made it a point to win and grabbed a ten-kill Chicken Dinner for themselves.

With two days remaining, almost everyone on the leaderboard has a chance to win the tournament. The second day of PMWI 2023 Main Event will start at 11:00 (UTC+0) on 15 July. The matches will be live on PUBG Mobile Esports' Official YouTube Channel
