PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 Survival Stage: Teams And Format Explained

After three weeks of intense group stages, PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 heads towards the Survival Stage of the tournament. Survival Stage will feature a total of 24, split according to their groups assigned during the Group Stages. Group Stages featured 48 teams split into Group Red, Group Green and Group Yellow. All the teams fought within their group, where the top three teams advanced to the grand finals, while the bottom five were eliminated from the tournament. The remaining eight teams from each group have another chance to make their way to the grand finals.

 

Survival Stage of PMGC 2023 will begin from 22 November 2023 and continue till 24 November 2023. Over three days, each group will play in a round-robin format, where each team will play 12 maps. Here is a comprehensive guide to the PMGC 2023 Survival Stage.

PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023: Survival Stage Explained

 

 

After the Group Stages of PMGC 2023, teams positioned 4th-11th on the leaderboard advanced to the Survival Stage. Here are the teams and groups playing in the PMGC 2023 Survival Stage. 

 

  • Group Green:

    • Quest Esports

 

  • Group Red:
    • Nigma Galaxy

Starting from 22 November 2023, each group will play against each other as per the following schedule:

 

  • 22 November 2023: Group Green vs Group Yellow
  • 23 November 2023: Group Green vs Group Red
  • 24 November 2023: Group Yellow vs Group Red

 

All the matches will be live on PUBG Mobile Esports' Official YouTube Channel from 10:45(UTC +0). Map rotation on each day of the Survival Stage of PMGC 2023 will be:

 

  • Match 1: Sanhok
  • Match 2: Erangel
  • Match 3: Erangel
  • Match 4: Erangel
  • Match 5: Miramar
  • Match 6: Miramar

 

After the Survival Stage, the top 16 teams will make their way to the Last Chance Stage of the PMGC 2023. During the Last Chance, these 16 teams will fight for another two days, and only the top five teams will qualify for the grand finals. 

 

After completing the Group Stages, the following teams have booked their slot for the grand finals.

The top five teams after the Last Chance Stage will join the eleven teams for the grand finals that will take place from 8 December 2023 to 10 December at Ülker Sports and Event Hall. All the teams are fighting for the lion's share of the $3,000,000 prize pool.
