Orangutan Esports Wins Valorant EMG South Asia Series In Dominant Fashion
Previously during their Ascension debut, Orangutan did not manage to win a single match in the tournament and were placed last in the table. However, after Ascension, they made changes to the roster by including Indonesia’s Frostmind in the team. During Challengers South Asia, Orangutan decimated the competition by defeating every team in the tournament in both the Splits. After Ascension, there have been multiple roster changes and some teams have even considered leaving South Asian Valorant esports. On the contrary, Team Sarafa has doubled down on the game and boasts of former VLT, RGE, AA, and Medal pros.
After the end of the Challengers circuit, Marzil formed the team with Rite2Ace, Tr1cky, Deadly10, and Amaterasu. While few expected them to perform well, no one was ready to see them pave their way to the Grand Finals. The EMG Pro Series will be featuring some of the best teams from across South Asia, GCC Iraq and Levant, and Africa. While following a regular season circuit, the series will also feature an LCQ where teams will compete for a final shot at the EMG Legends Cup. To spice things up, the Last Chance Qualifier will be played in a LAN setup as well.
