After an early exit from Valorant Champions Tour 2023: Pacific LCQ, Talon Esports players took a break to spend time with their family and friends. The IGL of Talon Esports, Thanamethk 'Crws' Mahatthananuyut, also flew back to Thailand and started playing Badminton after a long VCT season.
On July 25, 2023, Crws tweeted that he picked up an injury and had to be taken to hospital by ambulance. It is unlikely that he will return to professional play for a few months.

Talon Esports' IGL Crws Suffers a Severe Injury While Playing Badminton
On his Twitter handle, Crws said:
"First week back and already get to experience ambulance. Not looking forward to the next few months..."
The injury has set him back severely, taking him out of commission for a couple of months at least. In the mean time, Crws is using his recovery period to interact with his Twitter fans and recuperate.
Crws looks like he is dealing positively with his injury, but the accident looks severe and can take months to recover. It could mean that Talon Esports will be looking for a new IGL to replace Crws if he doesn't get fit to play in time for the VCT 2024 season.
In 2022, while Crws played for Xerxia, he said he wouldn't quit Valorant for any amount of money. He wants the best for his team, and if he finds a perfect replacement, he might step down for a while in the coming future.
At the moment, fans are hoping for Crws' fast recovery. Fans will have to wait for further updates on this situation from both Talon Esports and Crws.
