After a mind-boggling Best-of-Three series in the Lower Brackets of WEU Qualifiers, Nigma Galaxy falls out of contention from the TI qualification run. In their Upper Bracket matchup, Nigma could not keep up against the likes of Entity and lost to their opponents with an overall 2-1 scoreline.
Falling to Lower Bracket, Nigma had to take down Alliance which proved too tall an ask and as a result, lost their matchup with a 2-1 scoreline. Despite trying their best to make it to The International, Nigma Galaxy’s preparations fell short on their road to the TI run.

Nigma Galaxy Knocked Out Of Dota 2 WEU TI Qualifiers
Nigma’s loss against Alliance was an unexpected one. In the current season, Alliance has struggled to survive in the competition, especially after being demoted from Division II in Tour 3. Fans expected NGX to dominate the matchup and move further in the bracket. In the first game, Alliance defeated Nigma Galaxy thus taking a lead right at the start of the match. However, in the second game, Nigma showed up strong as they finished the game with a win just within 31 minutes, with a 31-kill record.
In the decider of this nail-biter series, Nigma faltered in their decision-making during the draft phase and had a disadvantage even before the match began. After losing their Yuma three times in a row during the laning phase, Alliance picked up the pace against NGX, leaving no room for mistakes and over-commitments. At the end of the matchup, Alliance edged NGX out of the series and ensured their progress in the race to TI.
Nigma has been struggling to keep up for quite a while now and it seems like their dreams of making it to Internationals and Majors have been falling apart despite the roster core sticking together throughout the years. On the contrary, Alliance will have another chance to win it all and grab tickets to The International.
