The Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023 for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) has been set in motion.  The forthcoming competition, which will be hosted in Cambodia, will include 12 of the best teams from Southeast Asia (SEA), the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), North America (NA), and Turkey competing for this year's championship title. Non-SEA teams will be included in the MSC 2023, according to a previous statement by Moonton, to provide some variation to the competition. The eagerly awaited MSC 2023 is scheduled to start on June 10 and conclude on June 18 with a grand conclusion. The representatives from each region were chosen through a series of qualifying competitions.

Since it has been held every year since 2017, MSC has established itself as a mainstay in Moonton's mobile Esports series. Each year, some of the top teams from Southeast Asia participate.

By first extending MSC to include teams from additional regions in 2023, Moonton is pushing the bar even higher. Top teams from North America, Turkey, and MENA (Middle East and North Africa) will compete in the competition, which, in the words of the organizers, transforms a "recognized regional brand into an international championship."
