In its ongoing effort to maintain competitive integrity in its tournaments, Krafton isn't shy to hand out bans to those who violate the rules. Last week 155 teams were removed from BGIS 2023 for breaking the rules and it seems another ban wave is on the cards.
After its first wave of disqualifications from BGIS 2023, Krafton has disqualified an additional 54 BGMI teams for violating the rules set by them. The rulebook mentions that any player or team using unfair means to gain an advantage over others will be disqualified from the tournament which has a total prize pool of Rs. 2 crore. Here is the reason mentioned by the developers.

Krafton Disqualifies 54 More Teams From BGIS 2023
In a social media post, Krafton informed their audience that 54 more teams have been disqualified or banned from entering BGIS 2023 Round 3, which starts today. These teams were found guilty of breaking sections 6.2.4 and 4.1 clauses from the rulebook, and will not be moving ahead in the competition. In the post, they said:
Attention undergods, the following teams have breached the BGIS Rulebook, specifically Sections 6.2.4, and 4.1, as well as the BGIS Code of Conduct. As a result, the teams have been disqualified from the BGIS competition.
