After two successful Intel Gamer Days, the next stop was Delhi for the Intel Gamer Days LAN Fest by OMEN. Fans from all over Delhi came to Hyatt Centric, Janakpuri, to witness an intense Valorant Cup grand finals, meet and greet with their favourite creators and participate in the cosplay competition and FIFA 23 and Mortal Kombat 11 community tournaments. Intel Gamer Days LAN Fest by OMEN Delhi: What Went Down
Fans showed up in large numbers at LAN Fest by OMEN Delhi to meet their favourite creators. Popular creators like AnkkitaC, Mamba and Zeref interacted with their fans at the event and went live from the venue. Alongside the meet and greet, fans enjoyed several booths like VR with Beat Saber and Prop Photoshoot and got their hands on the Racing Sim with The Crew Motorfest.
Intel Gamer Days LAN Fest by OMEN featured the Valorant Cup, where the top four teams from the online qualifiers played against each other on LAN. The four teams at the LAN Fest by OMEN were Alternate Realities, Aimbappe, ChaiTea Esports and GGz. The first semi-final match was between Aimbappe and ChaiTea Esports on the map of Lotus, and Aimbappe won the game with a 13-10 scoreline. In the second semi-final between GGz and Alternate Realities, GGz decimated their opponents with a 13-8 scoreline on Lotus.
The Grand Final was between Aimbappe, which consisted of FPS veteran Psy, and GGz. The best-of-three matchup began on the map of Haven, where Aimbappe didn't give their opponents any chance and won with a 13-5 scoreline. GGz gave a tough fight in the second map of Bind, but Aimbappe came out strong and won the map with a 13-10 scoreline, crowning themselves as the winner of LAN Fest by OMEN.
Aimbappe received Rs. 70,000 for winning the event, while GGz went home with Rs. 40,000 prize money. ChaiTea Esports and Alternate Realities received Rs. 20,000 for qualifying for the LAN. Alongside the teams, fans also won big with FIFA 23 and Mortal Kombat 11 community tournament with a cosplay competition. Each competition featured a prize pool of Rs. 25,000.
