After a long quarter of back-to-back events, Insane Esports has announced the dissolution of its BGMI lineup. The roster consisted of five of the most seasoned players in the Indian gaming community and was touted to be one of the fiercest rosters in the scene. However, their recent performances in official and unofficial events might have led to the decision by upper management that the association with the team is no longer fruitful for Insane Esports.

Insane Esports Releases Their BGMI Lineup
In a social media post, Insane Esports announced that they have allowed their roster to explore more opportunities in the world of BGMI. They also expressed gratitude towards the time and dedication that the players have poured into this project with the organization. Aadi, Skipzzz, Harsh, and Darklord are now open to exploring more opportunities. The short post read:
"Sending our esports stars off to new horizons! Thank you guys for your contributions. Best of luck with your future endeavours."
In the last few BGMI LAN events, the team failed to make it to the semi-finals and the main events, disappointing their fans. At the BGMS 2023 event, the team had a decent performance but failed to prove their mettle at BGIS 2023, which was an official event hosted by Krafton.
The team also failed to qualify for the Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI Finals and the Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle Season 2. Both of these events took place in the first week of November 2023 and saw Blind Esports and Entity Gaming emerging victorious.
The farewell could also be attributed to the fact that Insane Esports' owner, Debojyoti 'David' Dey was recently arrested by the Guwahati Police in connection with a Call Centre raid. Guwahati Police Commissioner Diganta Barah said:
There was information regarding the functioning of some scam call centres in Guwahati. We formed multiple teams and conducted raids at multiple locations simultaneously against individual targets and some call centres where these cybercriminals were operating. We raided 8 such places and we could detain 191 persons who were involved in cyber crimes, operating from these call centers, which were illegal. We could seize the electronic gadgets used in committing crimes. Reliable intelligence input was received that some scammer gangs are operational in Guwahati and are involved in operating call centers and cheating Indians and foreign nationals by impersonating technical support staff. They would also pose as customer support representatives.
While the players did not have anything to do with the alleged scam, it is speculated that this could be the biggest reason why the roster was let go.
