Gods Reign started their campaign in a BO3 against DarkSide with the former choosing Inferno and DarkSide choosing Nuke. Gods Reign registered a 13-4 win against their opponent and the T-side gave them a 9-3 T-half. DarkSide redeemed themselves in the second half of the match but fell short as they lost Inferno 13-8. However, they lost the second round Nuke 13-9.
The match then moved to the decider round, which was played on Anubis. After a shaky start, they finally ended the match with a 13-11.
After their place was confirmed in the closed qualifiers, the team quickly defeated Drippy Labs 13-7 and moved to play the seeding game against SR Nacague. This was a BO1 round, which would determine the seeding that Gods Reign would get moving forward. The map that would make Gods Reign's seeding possible was Ancient, which they won 16-12.
The final game of the day was played on Mirage.
