skillZ and Lightningfast, the Indian duo, helped Global Esports consolidate their lead in the second half as the team managed to win back-to-back rounds. Global Esports looked unstoppable and FURIA was starving to win their first round in their attacking half. FURIA looked to be under pressure as hundreds of GE fans were chanting for the home team. After a quick timeout from GE, the home team defeated FURIA on the map of Sunset with a 13-8 scoreline.

After an exciting initial matchup, it was FURIA's map pick of Breeze for the second game with Global Esports starting on the attack. mwzera continued his rampage from the pistol round as the Brazilian Jett decimated GE's players in the first round. It was only in the 9th round that Global Esports stopped FURIA's winning streak as blaZek1ng clutched a crucial 1v2. Global Esports reduced the lead by the end of the half as the scoreline read 7-5 in FURIA's favour.

While Global Esports was close to the victory, FURIA struck back to push the game to overtime and win the game with a 14-12 scoreline.

With the scores tied up, the teams entered the decider map of Haven. The second half of the game was all about Global Esports trying to get control of the map. Once again, the team stepped up to reduce the round difference as skillZ and Polvi went on a rampage with their multi-frags. The seven-round difference was reduced to a 9-8 scoreline in FURIA's favour by the end of the 17th round, and the scoreline was tied after 22 rounds. Thanks to blaZek1ng's amazing ace, Global Esports took the lead for the first time on Haven, and with their fantastic team performance, GE secured the victory over FURIA with a 13-11 scoreline.
