  • Global Esports announces Niko "Polvi" Polvinen as the "final addition" to their Valorant roster.

  • Global Esports' Valorant roster includes, Russ, Benkai, LightningFast, BlazeK1ng and Polvi.

  • Polvi has previously won VCL 2023: France and BEACON Open Split 1.

After a long wait, Global Esports has announced Niko "Polvi" Polvinen as the "latest and final addition" to their Valorant roster. Polvi is a Finnish duelist who brings his experience from European servers to help Global Esports clinch their first VCT trophy in the upcoming season. With the addition of Polvi, Global Esports' Valorant roster for VCT Pacific League 2024 is completed. Global Esports' current lineup consists of BlazeK1ng, LightningFast, Polvi, and Benkai, and the team will be playing under the leadership of Russ. LightningFast is the only player who will be continuing from their previous lineup.

In VCT 2023, Global Esports couldn't meet the expectations of their fans, and the team's management decided to build the team from scratch. For the upcoming 2024 season, Peter "Spin" Bradford and Morgan "BigTime" Jay will be the team's head coach and assistant coach, respectively.

Addition of Polvi Completes Global Esports Valorant Roster for VCT 2024

Niko "Polvi" Polvinen is a Finnish player whose primary agents in Valorants are Jett and Raze. Before joining Global Esports, Polvi played in Europe under the banner of Valiant and OnlyFins. During his run with Valiant, his team dominated Valorant Challengers 2023 France: Revolution Coupe de France. Valiant won the grand finals of VCL France with a 3-0 scoreline and Polvi was the MVP of the game with a KDA of 64/42/11. Polvi was also the winner of the BEACON Open Split 1 and played a crucial role in leading the team to victory.

Polvi's addition will be crucial to Global Esports' Valorant run in the upcoming season. With his MVP performance in European tournaments, his team and fans will have high expectations from him in the Pacific League for 2024. According to Polvi's announcement video description, he will be the "final addition" to the team, meaning Global Esports will compete in the Pacific League with its five-man lineup. While fans were expecting the Indian Jett, SKRossi, to be a part of the lineup, the chances of his addition are low.

After a disappointing run during the 2023 Pacific League where the team won just three out of nine games and also lost their first game of LCQ against RRQ after a close matchup, fans have high hopes for the new squad. Fans will get to witness the lineups' potential earlier during the Off//season events.
