Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 20 has come to an end with Gaimin Gladiators winning it all. With the addition of DreamLeague S20, they have secured their fourth international trophy including DreamLeague S19, Lima Major 2023, and Berlin Major 2023 in the current DPC Season. After an incredible lower bracket run that saw them take down giants like PSG.LGD, the team crossed the final hurdle by taking down BetBoom.

Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 20 Grand Finals Recap
The first game saw Gaimin draft a mid-lane Dragon Knight and offlane Beastmaster. With this draft, they planned to early push their opponent’s base but failed to do so. BetBoom took the early game lead by winning the team fight. However, this was not the end of the story as Gladiators won a very crucial team fight for Roshan, securing their first game of the series within 44 minutes.
BetBoom made a strong comeback on the next map as they out-drafted Gaimin Gladiators, featuring an aggressive Juggernaut and Enchantress combo. Nonetheless, Gaimin Gladiators put up a good fight, winning the early high-ground push. Try as they might, Gaimin Gladiators lost their second game within 37 minutes to BetBoom.
Game 3 was a classic definition of a massacre. BetBoom’s Bloodseeker was on a rampage as the game was wrapped up within just 28 minutes with an overall scoreline of 26-2. At this point, BetBoom were sweeping the floor with the Gladiators, putting them at series point.
However, after losing two games consecutively, the Gladiators were not ready to give up. Showcasing extraordinary mental fortitude, they won both the remaining games, reverse sweeping BetBoom and winning the entire tournament. Gaimin Gladiators' hard work has also earned them a sport at The Riyadh Masters 2023.
