Revenant Esports Likely To Expand Into Free Fire India

With the announcement of the game's return, the Free Fire India Championship was also announced. This would be the first official tournament for the game with the winners getting a chance to participate in the world championship in Thailand. Keeping the upcoming tournament in mind, Rohit Jagasia, the owner of Revenant Esports said:

Only a year ago with the bans on Free Fire and BGMI, the Indian esports scenario was struggling with a dearth of options for the country's mobile gamers. I applaud Garena in their efforts to bring Free Fire India and already make a commitment towards esports which will be a big boost to welcoming old and new players alike. While we don’t currently have an esports roster in the game, we are always on the lookout for potential titles to enter and Free Fire is certainly one on our radar.

With this hint, Revenant Esports will be looking to expand the titles they currently compete in. Revenant Esports currently has rosters across CS: GO, Valorant, and BGMI. With the addition of a potential Free Fire India roster, Revenant Esports could be looking to represent India on the global stage.

Free Fire India was banned in India a year ago with the government citing security concerns. After working closely with Garena, the game is going to make a comeback in the country after adhering to the conditions laid down by the Indian government. The full plans for the esports event rollout haven't yet been revealed, but fans can expect to play the game on September 5.
