ESL DreamLeague Season 20 has begun on 11th June 2023. The participating teams will have a chance to compete for a massive prize pool of 1,000,000 USD and a slot in Riyadh Masters.
The tournament will comprise of 16 teams from 5 different regions - Eastern Europe, North America, South America, China and Southeast Asia. The top 2 teams from the tournament will qualify for Riyadh Masters 2023.
ESL DreamLeague S20 Format and Schedule
The event will take place from 11th June to 25th June, 2023. As mentioned earlier, 16 teams are competing for a shot at Riyadh Masters with a massive prize pool of 1000,000 USD. There are 2 Group Stages - Group Stage 1 scheduled between June 11th and June 14th , and Group Stage 2 scheduled between June 16th and June 22nd. GS1 consists of 2 groups of 8 teams each and GS2 consists of 1 group of 8 teams each. Top 4 teams from both groups in GS1 advance to GS2. All the matches in GS1 are Best of 2, while that of GS2 are Best of 3.
The top 4 teams from Group Stage 2 will proceed to Playoffs. 1st and 2nd placed teams will be seeded into UB Playoffs while 3rd and 4th placed teams will be seeded into LB playoffs. The games will be played in a Double Elimination Best of 3 format. The Grand Finals will be played in Best of 5 format.
