BLAST Share Major Update With Regards To Company Funding

 

 

In a recent press release, Blast shared that they aim to expand the company’s position in the global market with the new round of funding secured. A strong financial hold will ensure both quality and quantity tournaments from the organizer in the upcoming days. The tournament organizer will also be collaborating with game publishers like Ubisoft, Epic Games and Valve in the coming future. To ramp things up, BLAST also plans on improving the technological aspect of the company to bring better and a more developed broadcast environment for tournaments and other live streams.

 

 

Primarily, BLAST is known for its strong influence over Counter-Strike as the company has hosted multiple esports tournaments in the game. BLAST Paris Major is one of the organizer's most iconic tournaments, where Team Vitality took the Champions throne. Besides CS, BLAST has its stronghold over other esports titles including Fortnite (FNCS) and Rainbow Six Siege (BLAST Rainbow Six). In May 2020, the company raised an amount of EUR 12.5M, led by the CEO of the Danish Investment Fund.
