BGMI Masters Series 2023: Invited Teams, Format, Dates and More

BGMI Masters Series 2023 was recently announced by Nodwin Gaming, bringing back the beloved event. Prior to the ban, BGMS was a LAN event of epic proportions that was even broadcasted on television. This year, Nodwin hopes to outdo their previous records. 

 

While Nodwin Gaming has not revealed a lot of information, the invited teams and the format of the tournament were recently leaked. Here are all the details about the BGMI Masters Series 2023 known so far, including invited teams, format and other details

BGMI Masters Series 2023 Invited Teams

A total of 14 teams have reportedly been invited to the event, and the rest of the teams will have to earn their way to the LAN event. The invited teams are as follows:

  • Numen Esports
  • God’s Reign
  • Enigma Gaming
  • Blind Esports
  • Team Soul
  • Medal Esports
  • Orangutan Esports
  • Godlike Esports
  • Team Xspark
  • One Blade Esports
  • Gladiators Esports
  • Team 8Bit
  • Revenant Esports
  • Global Esports

According to insiders, the online qualifiers for the event have already started. 

BGMS 2023 Format

BGMI Masters Series 2023 will begin with online qualifiers. After a series of rounds, the event will then proceed to the semi-finals stage, and then the finals. 

  • BGMS (qualifiers): 18-24 July
  • Round of 1024 - 64 groups - Top 4 Teams from each group will qualify, stage lasts for two days
  • Round of 256- 16 groups - Top 8 Teams from each group will qualify, stage lasts for a day
  • Round of 128 - 8 groups- Top 16 Teams from each group will qualify, along with 16 Invited Teams, stage lasts for a day
  • Round of 64 - 4 groups - Top 4 Teams from each group will qualify, along with 16 Invited Teams, stage lasts for a day
  • Round of 32 - 2 groups - Top 5 Teams from each group will qualify, stage lasts for a day

The semi-finals will feature 24 teams in total. 10 teams will be added from the Round of 32 while the 14 invited teams will start their journey here. From the semis, 16 teams will be heading to the finals and will fight for a massive (currently undisclosed) prize pool. According to insiders, BGMS 2023 will begin on August 3, 2023, and is going to be a LAN event that most likely will take place in Delhi.
