The BGMI matches began with Erangel and the crowd cheered loudly for both sides and rooted for intense action. The first match went to Emtek from Korea but Erangel saw intense gameplay from NinjaJOD, who took six frags for his team and helped them accumulate a total of 81 points at the end of the first day. However, other Indian teams also performed extremely well.

Match 2, which was rehosted due to technical difficulties went to Korea’s Eagle Owl, who got 24 points from the match and Gods Reign took 19 matches. The team is known for their fearlessness and at a time when the players are still adjusting, Gods Reign have proven to be ready for every kind of action.

Match 3 and 4 went to Dplus KIA and Gods Reign respectively. The the third match Indian team, Blind Esports started the day with total domination, Spower did a 1v3 in camp Alpha just as the match began but with a great 1v3 by Dplus KIA against Gladiators Esports, the match went in the Korean team's way. Match 4 was the only match in which the Indian team took a chicken dinner. Gods Reign put on a great show and got a 21-point chicken dinner to energise the audience.

The last match of the day went to Eagle Owls, who got an amazing 24-point chicken dinner. Revenant Esports got 17 points from the match and are at 38 points after the end of the first day.

While the day saw some rematches and technical difficulties, the Indian side's attempts in many matches have kept the audience hopeful for a better Day 2 from the Indian side. Match 2, which was initially won by Medal Esports was rehosted with a different outcome and the third match saw a similar fate but was restarted at the initial stages only.

The second day will begin on 27th October with the same invited teams playing. Indian fans would be hoping to see better gameplay from the Indian side since there is just one Indian team in the top 3 currently and the stakes are high. This is the first time that India is hosting a country for a BGMI tournament. The matches will be streamed live on Jio Cinema and Krafton India Esports YouTube channel.
