BGIS 2024 Wildcard Day 1 Group 2 Results and Points Table

The second half of BGIS 2024 Wildcard Day 1 saw matches played by Group 2. These 16 teams played matches across three maps and fought to make it to the top of the leaderboard to find themselves in a comfortable place when the groups will be reshuffled on Day 3.

Team NIY Esports topped the points table with 38 points. The matches were purely dominated by underdogs, and they also held two of the three podium places on the points table. Gujarat Tigers had a total of 34 points and THW Esports was placed third with 31 points.

This group got to play the last three matches of the day. NIY Esports won the first match of the day and got a total of 19 points from the match. MOGO Esports had a sub par match and just got four points from the match. In the second match, THW Esports showed their dominance and got 19 points in total and the chicken dinner. Gujarat Tigers got 11 points in this match. Here is the points table for the day:

The last match of the day was won by Gujarat Tigers. The Shadow-led team got 20 points for themselves and were able to solidify their position in the game. Windgod and TMG got five points each in the game. All the teams just have three more matches to make the most of the Wildcard round, and find a place for themselves in the semi finals.
