The official BGMI tournament 2024 season will start with BGIS 2024 The Grind. The top 256 teams from the country will be taking part in the tournament with the top 64 teams moving to the main part of the tournament, which has a prize pool of Rs 2 crore. These 64 teams will meet the other teams that make it to the later stages of the game through the in-game, online and other qualifying stages. Here are the dates and format of BGIS 2024 The Grind.

BGIS 2024 The Grind Date And Format

 

 

The Grind is divided into four weeks and the first week will begin on April 4. Teams and players who will be playing in the first week will only get to play till April 7. After all the teams have played in the four weeks, the top 16 teams will get a chance to directly play Round 4 of BGIS 2024. Here is the schedule for Week 1 of BGIS 2024 The Grind: 

 

  • Week 1: April 4 to 7
  • Week 2: April 11 to 14
  • Week 3: April 18 to 21
  • Week 4: April 25 to 28 

 

For the first week, 16 groups have been randomly picked and the first eight groups will be playing three matches. The second week will follow the same order. Week three will reshuffle these groups based on their performance over the last two weeks and here also, the teams will get just three matches to play. Based on their performance, they will be playing the main event.

 

  • Ranked 1st to 16th - Round 4
  • Ranked 17th to 32nd - Round 3
  • Ranked 33rd to 64th - Round 2

 

Audiences can watch the matches live on Krafton India Esports' YouTube channel from 3:30 PM onwards and root for their favorite BGMI teams and players. The matches will be played across Vikendi, Miramar, Sanhok and Erangel. The challenge will be more thrilling since Krafton will now officially move to the 10-points system and the meta will also change.
