Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023 Grand Finals: Day Two Recap And Overall Standings

As day two of Battlegrounds India Series 2023 finals concludes, the points table of BGIS 2023 has started to take shape. With the intention of dethroning day one's table toppers, teams like Big Brother Esports and Gladiator Esports scored around 90 points on day two, helping them sit comfortably at the top of the leaderboard. Unlike day one, fans on the witnessed some of the most aggressive performances from the teams looking to gather as many kill points as possible.

 

Teams like Gods Reign and Revenant Esports struggled to collect points on the second day, but thanks to their consistent start, they are still amongst the top five teams and have a fair chance to nab the trophy from the hands of table toppers.

Day two of the BGMI Series 2023 finals started with the classic map of Erangel. Repeating their storyline from day one, Team XSpark won the day's first game with seven kills and became the first squad to win two games in the finals. Following Erangel, the teams entered the deserted map of Miramar. With nine kills to their name, Third World Mafia (TWM) Gaming stole the map from under Medal Esports who came second with 12 finishes. In the third game, teams dropped into the grassy fields of Sanhok where Blind Esports won their first chicken dinner with seven finishes. 

 

After nine matches, the teams crossed the halfway mark in the BGMI Series 2023 finals. The teams entered the map of Vikendi for the fourth game where Midwave Esports decimated their opponents with a 12-kill chicken dinner, making them the second team with two chicken dinners. While Big Brother Esports had consistent games, they were hungry for chicken dinners. To end the day on a high note and climb to the top of the leaderboard, Big Brother Esports won the maps of Miramar and Erangel in succession with 11 and 13 finishes, respectively.

After grabbing 71 points in the last three games, Big Brother Esports jumped multiple places and secured the top spot on the leaderboard at the end of the second day. Gladiator Esports made their comeback by coming second in the final two maps and securing P2 on the leaderboard. The table toppers of day one slid down to the third spot as the team only secured 33 points throughout the day. Team XSpark, Gods Reign and TWM Gaming sit on the leaderboard's fourth, fifth and sixth spot.

 

With six games remaining on the final day, all the top ten teams on the leaderboard are in contention for winning the BGIS 2023 finals. The finals will resume on 15 October 2023, and India will witness the winners of BGIS 2023 taking home the prize of Rs. 75,00,000. The top eight teams will also be playing in the India vs Korean friendly match at the end of the month.
