Apex Legends Global Series Year 3 Split 2 Playoffs returns on July 13th . The event will take place between July 13 and July 16 at the Cooper Box Arena in London where the top 40 squads will tough it out for a chunk of the massive $1 Million prize pool. Their performances and Playoff points will pave their way to the ALGS Year 3 Championship.
According to reports, ALGS Split 2 Pro League has secured the highest watch time out of any leagues they have run. With London growing as a gaming hub, EA plans to grow there with the upcoming Split 2 Playoffs.
ALGS Year 3 Split 2 Playoffs Format & Schedule
The tournament will be divided into 3 stages: Group Stage, Bracket Stage, and Finals. The Group Stage will have four groups of 10 teams each. The groups will square off against each in six-game series'. From there, the Bracket Stage will feature the top 20 teams with the highest Group Stage scores.
The Bracket Series will feature one six-game series in the winner's bracket and two six-game series in the loser bracket. The winners bracket will feature the top 10 teams who will advance directly to the Finals while the rest will fall to the Lower Bracket for the last 10 spots.
The Finals will see these 20 teams compete using the Match Point format. Ten teams advancing from Winner's Bracket will be seeded by their placement from the Winners’ bracket and will start finals with Advance Starting Points.
