India-Korea BGMI Mobile Invitational 2023: All You Need To Know

With the taglines 'Two Nations, One Passion' and 'A Tale of Titans', Krafton has announced the India-Korea BGMI Mobile Invitational 2023 with the top teams from the two nations battling it out in a LAN tournament in New Delhi, India. The total prize pool of the event is a whopping INR 1 Crore. The tournament will take place over three days from 26 October to 28 October, with 16 teams playing six matches every day. The top seed by the end of day three will be declared the champion. This is also going to be the first international tournament that will be played in BGMI since the game's launch. The fact that this is also a LAN event on Indian soil makes it all the more special for the home teams.

India-Korea BGMI Mobile Invitational Schedule, Venue, Teams

 

 

The India-Korea Invitational will take place from 26 October 2023 to 28 October 2023 at the Pragati Maidan Stadium in New Delhi, India. Eight Korean teams will be flying down to the capital of India to partake in the first international tournament since the ban of PUBG Mobile in September 2020. With the three-month trial period of BGMI ending this tournament will be a landmark event for the future of the game as well as the esports scene in India. 

The Indian teams which will be part of the India-Korea Invitational are:

  • Gladiator Esports (BGIS 2023)
  • Big Brother Esports (BGIS 2023)
  • Team XSpark (BGIS 2023)
  • Blind Esports (BGIS 2023)
  • Gods Reign (BGIS 2023)
  • Medal Esports (BGIS 2023)
  • Revenant Esports (BGIS 2023)
  • TWM Gaming (BGIS 2023)
     

The Korean teams which will be part of the India-Korea Invitational are:

  • DUKSAN Esports (Korea Pro Series)
  • Dplus KIA (Korea Pro Series)
  • ZZ (Korea Pro Series)
  • Eagle Owls (Korea Pro Series)
  • emTek StormX (Korea Pro Series)
  • Nongshim RedForce (Korea Pro Series)
  • Maru Gaming (Korea Pro Series)
  • ROX Esports (Korea Pro Series)
     

Indian supporters will have high expectations for the home squads, particularly Gladiator Esports who were the BGIS 2023 champions. Another strong contender is Big Brother Esports who finished in second place at BGIS 2023. Another fan favorite will be Team XSpark where supporters are eager to see sc0ut's team continue to dominate international teams.

 

The presence of the Korean powerhouses, DUKSAN Esports, and Dplus KIA in the lobby will make it difficult for the Indian teams to breeze past. DUKSAN Esports won the third season of the PUBG Mobile Pro Series 2023 and they will also participate in the PMGC 2023. Another well-known team that has annihilated opponents on the international level is Dplus KIA. Fans will be able to watch the live stream of the games on the official Krafton Esports India YouTube channel and Jio Cinema from 26 to 28 October from 1 PM IST.
