BGIS 2024 is back, and this time with a very interesting format. The game is divided into multiple stages that the invited and the aspiring teams have to clear to be able to compete for a prize pool of Rs. 2,0000,000 and the bragging rights for the same. The tournament will kick off on April 4, 2024, with the first phase called The Grind. Here is everything players and audience need to know about BGIS 2024: format and schedule.

BGIS 2024 Format and Schedule Explained

The registration for the event has already started. Squads who wish to compete in the event can register for the tournament from Krafton's official website. The tournament will kick off with The Grind, where the teams that have performed well in the previous iteration of the event will get invited. Those teams will play in the event and the top teams will move to compete in the further stages of the event. Here is the schedule of the whole tournament:

• The Grind: April 4 to 28
• BGIS Qualifier Rounds 2023: May 2 to 26
• Wildcard Entry: May 30 to June 2
• Semifinals Week 1: June 4 to 9
• Semifinals Week 2: June 13 to 16
• Grand Finals: June 28 to 30

Squads who play The Grind will further get divided into groups based on their position. The squads will then play various BGIS Qualifier Rounds to move ahead to the finals.

• 1 to 16 position: BGIS Round 4
• 17 to 32 position: BGIS Round 3
• 33 to 64 position: BGIS Round 2

A very interesting Wild Card entry stage will take place this year. 64 teams will compete to make it to the further rounds, but only 16 of them will move to play in the semi-finals Week 1. 

BGIS 2024 Prize Pool Distribution

The teams will compete for a prize pool of Rs 2,00,00,000 and the winner will take home Rs 60,00,000. The rest of the teams will also be awarded a small prize and players can also get individual prizes if they perform really well in the competition.
