Reports from Rod “Slasher” Breslau claim that Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker is looking forward to changing roles to compete on a VCT franchised league team. In a recent video with Sean Gares, Slasher talked about yay’s hunger to compete internationally and prove his worth in the Tier 1 league again.
Previously, fans saw yay wanting to play at the League event at the cost of his salary. This shows how hungry yay is to compete and make a name for himself in the game. He played for Cloud9 before an abrupt roster reconstruction from the organization.

yay Might Change His Agent Pool To Set Foot In A Valorant Franchise Team
In 2022, yay’s Chamber was literally untouchable. He mastered the agent to the point fans started calling him “one trick Chamber main.” However, even before Chamber came into the game, yay was known for his aggressive Jett playstyle, which contributed to his alias “El Diablo.”
After leaving Cloud9, yay continued his professional career with Disguised, a challenger team in Valorant. However, yay admitted that he never truly took the Challenger League seriously and played for fun with his friends. He still believes he is made for the Tier 1 scene and is willing to do anything to reach there.
The Americas League is filled with some of the best Duelist players in the region. Players like the Brazilian demon, Aspas, will be moving to free agency after the conclusion of the 2023 Season. Teams in the Americas seem to be content with their duelist players.
In order to fill that gap, yay is considering offers from other regions while simultaneously upping his agent pool in the game. Previously, it was rumored that the current Pacific Ascension winners, Bleed Esports were looking to sign the North American to their roster. Now that the 2023 Professional Valorant season is nearing its end, fans await news of yay’s next team.
