VCT Ascension Pacific Day 3 Match Summary
The first match was between the orgless Australian wonder, Bonkers, and Dplus Esports, the titan Valorant roster from South Korea. Fracture was picked by Dplus Esports, but Bonkers seemed to be well prepared for their plays as they easily won the map at 13-9 where LEW seemed to have the game of his life. The second map was quite close as the teams managed to push it to overtime, where Bonkers won 15-13.
The second match was between Orangutan and SCARZ. The first map was an easy run for SCARZ as they won 13-6. The second map at first was initially one-sided in favor of SCARZ as commanding a dominant 9-3 lead. However, Orangutan managed to close the gap to 11-10 but could not close the map in their favor as SCARZ won 13-10.
The concluding match for the day was between BOOM Esports and Fancy United Esports. The first map was Ascent, Fancy United's pick. However, BOOM were the ones dominating the first half at 10-2 and eventually shutting Fancy United out with a humiliating 13-3 scoreline.
Famouz had a KDA of 25/8/7 and a whopping ACS of 422, while all the players in Fancy United had single-digit kills at the end of map 1. Map 2 started with an 8-4 lead for BOOM yet again, but Fancy United managed to close the big gap this time at 10-10. BOOM eventually closed out the second map at 13-10, a much closer affair than the first map.
2023 VCT Ascension Pacific will resume on July 1 and will have three matches:
