With the end of day 13 of Valorant Challengers South Asia 2024 - Cup #1 Regular Season, fans have received their top two teams of the tournament. Day 13 of VCL SA 2024 featured the battle between Orangutan Gaming and Grayfox Esports, followed by the undefeated Revenant Esports going against True Rippers.
With their 2-0 victory over Orangutan Gaming, Grayfox Esports qualified for the VCL SA Cup #1 Playoffs. Revenant Esports joined them and continued their winning streak after defeating True Rippers in the second game of the day. Grayfox Esports And Revenant Esports Qualifies For The Playoffs After Their Victory On Day 13 of Valorant Challengers South Asia 2024
The day started with a best-of-three series between Orangutan Gaming and Grayfox Esports on the map of Icebox. Grayfox Esports started strong and looked in no mood to lose the game. Grayfox Esports was in complete control as they secured an 8-4 lead in the first half. Without dropping a single round in the second half, Grayfox Esports won Icebox with a 13-4 scoreline.
On the second map of Lotus, Orangutan couldn't challenge Grayfox Esports, resulting in them trailing throughout the game. Grayfox won crucial rounds in the first half to secure a 7-5 lead, followed by back-to-back wins to finish the game in their favor.
For the second map, the undefeated Revenant Esports went against True Rippers. True Rippers started the series strong on Revenant's pick of Icebox by securing an 8-4 lead in the first half. Revenant retaliated in the second half but fell short in their efforts, resulting in True Rippers taking the map with a 13-9 scoreline.
For the second map of Split, True Rippers showed no mercy in the first half by winning the initial rounds. Revenant Esports bounced back in the latter part of the first half to reduce their deficit to 7-5. In the second half, Revenant Esports started getting in their groove and decimated True Rippers to win the game with a 13-10 scoreline.
After losing the second map, True Rippers missed the opportunity to lock the series, resulting in Revenant dominating them on the decider map of Ascent. Revenant Esports secured a 10-2 in the first half, and before the game ended, fans knew Revenant Esports had got the series in their name. Revenant Esports continued their winning streak by winning the map with a 13-7 scoreline.
