Xbox and Bethesda have dropped major details about their next big RPG, Starfield. The title is up for pre-order and fans also got a thorough glimpse into the gameplay as Microsoft dropped a 45-minute deep dive at the Xbox Games showcase. After the showcase ended, preorders for Starfield went live on Xbox and PC.
For PC users, the game which is releasing on September 6, preorders are available on Steam. The minimum specs for the game on PC aren't that demanding. Starfield will require Windows 10 version 22H2 (10.0.19045) along with a good processor, with AMD Ryzen 5 2600X or Intel Core i7-6800K. The game also requires a minimum of 16 GB RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 5700 or alternatively an NVIDIA GeForce 1070 Ti. Starfield is the first new IP by Bethesda in a long, long while.

Starfield has an Expansion Plans for An Already-Stacked Game
In the next-generation role-playing game set in space, players can create any character they want. The story unfolds In the year 2330, when humanity has ventured beyond the solar system and now features spacefaring people. Constellation is the last group of space explorers seeking rare artefacts throughout the galaxy.

Bethesda is also developing a Starfield post-launch story expansion pack titled Shattered Space. It will reportedly come exclusively with the Digital Premium Edition and the Constellation Edition of Starfield, upon release. Development chief Todd Howard recently broke down his plans for the franchise's add-on content.
"Our plan is to do things of varying sizes, and we've done a lot of that in our previous games, so it's something that we really like doing, our fans like. So despite the size of the game, there are still things we want to add as far as features in the future or stories and things like that. Hopefully, it's going to continue for a long time that way," he said.
Pre-ordering any version of Starfield will get you the Old Mars Skin Pack featuring Laser Cutter, Deep Mining Helmet and Deep Mining Pack Game Pass members will also get this pre-order content, regardless of when they download the game, as long as they have an active subscription. The Starfield Premium Edition includes the base game plus access to the Shattered Space expansion alongside Constellation Skin Pack and access to the Starfield Digital Artbook & Original Soundtrack.
