After recent rumors of a fifth man in Team XSpark, Tanmay "Sc0ut" Singh set the record straight in a recent announcement on his live stream. He said that the addition of DreamS to the BGMI squad has completed the roster and the starting four will be expected to play without him to begin with.
For now, TeamX Spark has Pukar "Pukar" Singla, Sarangajyoti "Sarang" Deka, Aditya "Aditya" Mathe, and Tushar "DreamS" Jain as the playing four. Sc0ut stated that his role in the team would be of a reserve player, subbing in when other players can't make it while he continues the solo grind.
Sc0ut Confirms He Will Be The 5th Player For Team XSpark As a Substitute
In a stream after DreamS' announcement, Sc0ut confirmed that he will be the fifth player for TX, but only the starting four will be making appearances, to begin with.
"This team (the other four players) is playing perfectly, which will give me the motivation to be better.
Sc0ut said he would grind in the T3 and T2 tournaments without the team and that he would only play when the team needed him.
"I don't want to be a liability to this team. This team is playing perfectly. They're motivating me to get better."
In addition to this, Sc0ut said that he has full faith in how Sarang and Pukaar will lead the team and their performance so far is a testimony of how well they can lead the team and play. TeamX Spark had a tough run in recent scrims, and after implementing many combinations, Sc0ut finalized this playing four.
The playing four is currently performing well, and have been able to showcase their skills in the Villager BGMI Pro Invitational Series Season 2 and were placed in eighth place with 95 points. The biggest event of the month, BGIS 2 is yet to begin, and the teams have started practicing for it. This will be a big stage for TeamX Spark, who are looking to assert their dominance once again.
