After the list of the invited teams for BGMS 2023 was revealed, Saumraj, who is currently a part of Entity Gaming raised questions about why they didn't get a slot at the event. For the unversed, Saumraj's old team, Skylightz Gaming, was one of the invited teams to last year's PMWI but wasn't able to make it due to documentation issues.
However, the same roster did not transfer over to Entity Gaming. Now, entity Gaming will seemingly not be playing BGMS as an invited team, despite their credentials, leading Saumraj to ask a few questions.
Saumraj-led Entity Gaming Left Out Of Direct LAN for BGMS 2023
While the dates for the LAN are yet to be announced, the list of invited teams was leaked on the internet and people were quick to notice some big names were left out of that list. Saumraj's team was also not among the invited 14. Resharing a post on his Instagram story, Saumraj asked:
"We aren't invited even after coming top 5 in the season, and when we discussed it, we got to know some bizarre reason, one after another."
He continued to ask for an explanation and said he wants to know why Numen and Team XSpark received an invite while a top 5 team didn't. He also questioned whether the lack of an invite was because they announced the roster a little late. Nodwin Gaming is yet to address the issues that players are facing. However, on-air talents like Spero and Mazy believe that who they want to invite to an event is purely at the organizer's discretion.
OR's Jelly also raised the same concerns but concluded by saying that it is Nodwin's event, and they reserve the right to choose who gets invited to their event. As of now, the dates for the Battlegrounds Master Series have not been revealed.
