Gods Reign is an Indian Esports organization that has multiple rosters in esports titles like BGMI, CS2, Pokémon Unite, and more. Recently, they bid farewell to two of their original members of the Counter-Strike roster, Ember and Rev3nnn. This decision comes after the team's inconsistent performance in recent tournaments like DreamHack. Furthermore, sources suggest that they have swapped the players with Revenant Esports' Counter-Strike roster.

Gods Reign Set To Replace Two Players In Their CS2 Roster
Gods Reign announced the farewell of their original roster's players, Garvit "Ember" Nehra and Parijat "rev3nnn" Banerjee on 21 November 2023 on their official Twitter handle. The two players were a significant part of the team's domination since Skyesports Masters, as Ember filled in the shoes of Anshul "KiilSwitch" Adarkar, who retired from CS after the tournament. Even though the announcement came later, both players have been spotted playing with the Revenant Esports CS roster recently as they seemed to have swapped positions with the players there. According to sources, Vishwesh "Cyclonef" Waradkar and Harsh "f1redup" Jain are set to be signed by the organization in the respective roles, who previously played for Revenant Esports. As for Ember and rev3nnn, they have been playing in Revenant Esports' roster for Esportz Premiere Series Qualifiers and Skyesports 5.0 CS Indian qualifiers.

Their first CS2 LAN tournament, namely Dream Hack Hyderabad 2023 went terribly as they lost against Enigma Gaming and Fired-up Gaming to finish in the 5th-6th position at the tournament. Marcos Gaming won the LAN defeating Revenant Esports in a clean sweep of 2-0, bagging a spot in BLAST Premiere Show match in Abu Dhabi later in December 2023. The most recent LAN, that is, Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup, was won by them, with the playing five of Hrishikesh "Crazy Gamer" Shenoy, Piyush "Clouda" Kalwania, Aakash "Ph1nnn" Bose, Parijat "rev3nnn" Banerjee and Vishwesh "Cyclonef" Waradkar in place of Ember. They had a clean win against legacy esports consisting of L0ngBarrel, tsukizy, ZEROCOOL, craZe, and m1shU. The new unofficial rosters of both Gods Reign and Revenant Esports will be facing off in the finals of the Skyesports 5.0 CS Indian qualifiers with with the two players from both teams having switched their positions with each other in the rosters. The winner will be qualifying for the LAN alongside OG and Aurora Gaming. The qualifying matches are not being streamed live.
