In a piece of shocking news, Gladiators Esports announced the farewell of their BGMI lineup consisting of Destro, Justin, Shogun and Delta PG. The lineup had won two big tournaments this year: BGMS Season 2 and BGIS 2023. Their farewell has come as a shock to many who assumed that the roster would stick to the organisation for the next three years, as hinted by Destro, their IGL, a week ago.

Gladiators Esports Close Operations, Bid Farwell To BGMI Lineup
In a post uploaded to Instagram, Gladiators Esports announced the farewell of their lineup and also announced that they will also be closing their India operations after seven months of operations. In a post on X (previously Twitter), Gladiators Esports said that a new roster update will be coming soon. Bidding farewell to their BGMI roster, Gladiators Esports wrote:
Saying goodbye is never easy, and today it's especially tough. With a heavy heart, we say farewell to the best BGMI roster ever. We wish them all the luck for what comes next.
Recalling his BGMI journey, Destro said that there were a lot of many low points; the main thing is you should never give up. I’ve had many low points in my career where I basically wanted to quit, but the only thing that helps is that attitude, you should never give up and come back stronger.
Announcing that they will be closing their operations, Gladiators Esports said that they will be seeing the community again in the future. They wrote on their Instagram:
This also marks the end of "Gladiators Esports" as an organisation. In the last 7 months, we achieved a lot together, but everything has its end, including our time together. Thanks to everyone who believed in us during this journey. Until our paths cross again, signing off, Gladiators Esports.
Gladiators Esports had an incredible run in 2023 and they won two events with a hefty prize pool. They won BGMS Season 2, which had a prize pool of Rs 2.1 crore and BGIS 2023, which had a prize pool of Rs 2 crore. They were also one of the teams that represented India in the India-Korea BGMI Invitational.
