GodLike Esports Fails To Qualify For Round 4 Of BGIS 2023
In the three matches that were played by Group 2 on Day 1, GodLike Esports had an impeccable performance. They were placed in second place after Gods Reign. However, on Day 2, the team seemed to be a little out of form since they faced early eliminations. After the end of six matches, the team had only 52 points and was placed in the seventh position. Their performance in the previous round also compelled the audience to believe that the team was now gaining momentum since they accumulated 133 points by the end of Round 2.
GodLike Esports has been struggling for a while now, and BGIS 2023 was their one chance this year to prove themselves but were not able to make the most of it. It should be recalled that Shadow, their IGL was benched and Neyoo, who is primarily a support was leading the team. It was because of his leadership that GodLike Esports did so well in Round 2, but have now been eliminated.
The cut-off for the round was 65, which is deemed to be a high number by the casters and the analysts. From here, once Round 3 is finished, only the top four from each group will move ahead. This would include teams from all the different groups. The rest of the team, who are unable to qualify, would be moving to the lower bracket and will be trying their luck again.
